Location and How To Get There

You’ll find us on Fiji’s northern island of Vanua Levu, an easy 55 minute flight from Nadi.

To get to Daku Resort, you fly into Nadi, Fiji’s international airport on the main island of Viti Levu, and then take a domestic flight to either Savusavu or Labasa airport.

Savusavu airport is ten minutes drive from Daku Resort and we’ll meet you at the airport (please remember to give us your flight details).

Labasa airport is a ninety minute drive over some very lovely mountains: the taxi fare is F$120 at the time of writing, and we can arrange for a taxi to meet you.

Travelling to Fiji

We’re happy to advise on flights, and if you’re planning it out, here’s some information to help you.

Fiji Airways: you can book a single ticket all the way through to Savusavu or Labasa. This has the advantage of giving you the international baggage allowance of 23kg on both the international and the domestic flight.

If you need to spend a night in Nadi between flights, there are plenty of hotels – here are three that are very close to the airport:
Fiji Gateway Hotel
Trans International Hotel (book via online booking sites)

International Travel from the US

From the US you will be flying out of LAX or San Francisco: the flight time is approx. 10 hr. 25 min. flight.

(Remember that the flight crosses the International Date Line so you appear to “lose” a day – ie. departing LA on Tuesday night gets you into Nadi on Thursday morning. And then when you make the return trip you leave Nadi around 10.30 pm and arrive back in LA at around 1320 on the same day – and you get that ‘lost’ day back!)
